We wanted to end the year on a good note and score some good old, honest RESISTANCE MU on CP. We soon found nice corridors around Haarlem, the only drawback being frogs living very close to two of the three corners. So we decided to just do it FAST and shoot for CP only.
Several agents were willing and available to make this end of year field so we planned to clear and field within 20 minutes. The GO was given at 21:40. First link up after 4 minutes, second link after 7, first field up after 9 minutes. Putting up the rest of the fields took 6 more minutes for a total time of 15 minutes!
Just a little bit of defense
RealRouge, Tikaytk and Fortifer decided to 'defend' the field by flipping the outer portal at Wonkels and rethrow the fields, effectively immunizing the portal (and incidentally scoreing 1M MU extra, yum). This turned out useful because within a couple of minutes several ENL showed up and we decided to do just a little bit of defense. But then we got fed up and left the Wonkels to the frogs.
Fortifer got worried that some ENL would throw back the fields later that night so requested some blocks (thanks, End3rw, for blocking in Haarlem). He then went out on a little drive around Haarlemmermeer to shoot some more long blocks, to make this less likely. Happily enough no green fields appeared and we moved on the celebrating the end of 2020 in a good mood.
