OPS Uramaki

 Sitrep Ops Uramaki

"Sushi traces its origins back to a Chinese dish called narezushi. This dish consisted of fermented rice and salted fish. The dish’s earliest known origin was in the 2nd century BC. The rice was used only to wrap and preserve the fish, and typically thrown out before eating the fish. The dish spread from China to Japan in the 8th century. The first reference to "sushi" appeared in the Yoro Code, written in the year 718." -  Wikipedia

Inside out

Onions, onions, enough of all those onions. Why don't we turn it inside out?!

This was the idea behind ops uramaki (inside-out maki sushi, where the rice is on the outside).

Since this was just after new year's eve, and following several other ops, this one was a bit chaotic. However, we managed to weather the cold and made the whole thing within the estimated time of 90 minutes. Some agents guarding the anchors were so cold that icicles actually formed, footage of that still forthcoming...

We linked the rows of portals together and fielded outside-in from the corners for many double fields.

The end result was a nice big, blue sushi covering the center of Amsterdam.
